Frewza F16 Trolling Motor & Garmin Electronics Install
We recently had the pleasure of working on a rugged Frewza F16 — a tough, capable rig that’s perfect for both inshore and freshwater fishing.
What We Installed:
✅ Haswing Trolling Motor Plug
We installed a marine-grade plug setup on the bow for a Haswing trolling motor, providing a clean, reliable connection point that’s easy to use and built to handle the harsh marine environment.
✅ Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 95SV on the Dash
The helm got a serious upgrade with the addition of a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 95SV. This unit offers crisp sonar, clear charting, and an intuitive interface — all displayed on a bright, easy-to-read 9” screen.
✅ Relocated the Existing 75SV to the Rear
To maximise functionality, we relocated the customer’s Garmin 75SV to the rear of the boat. It’s now perfectly placed for fishing off the transom, giving full sonar visibility while working lines at the back.
✅ Networked Both Garmin Units
We networked both screens together, allowing them to share sonar, charts, and waypoints seamlessly. This means whether you’re at the helm or at the stern, you have access to the same information — making navigation and fish finding easier and more efficient.
Why This Setup Works:
This is a super practical setup for both solo and team fishing trips. The dual Garmin networked system means you’re covered at both ends of the boat, and can easily monitor sonar or navigation from wherever you’re fishing. Plus, the dedicated Haswing trolling motor plug keeps the bow tidy and ready for quick deployment.
