Haines Hunter SF535 – Simrad NSS4 & Airmar TM275LHW Upgrade
Another clean marine electronics upgrade completed on this Haines Hunter SF535, with a new Simrad NSS4 12” multifunction display and Airmar TM275LHW transducer providing a significant upgrade in sonar and navigation performance.
Simrad NSS4 12” Installation
The centrepiece of the new setup is a Simrad NSS4 12” display, bracket mounted on the dash for a clean and practical installation.
The NSS4 provides fast access to navigation, sonar and other onboard functions through its large, high-resolution display.
The system is running C-MAP Reveal X charts, providing detailed chart information and clear presentation for both inshore and offshore navigation.
Airmar TM275LHW 1kW Transducer
The NSS4 is paired with an Airmar TM275LHW 1kW transducer, providing excellent sonar performance across a wide range of fishing depths.
The TM275LHW combines low-frequency and high-wide CHIRP technology, making it a versatile option for fishing both shallow and deep water.
The combination of the NSS4 and TM275LHW provides this Haines Hunter SF535 with a powerful and capable sonar setup.
Hydraulic Steering Hose Replacement
While the boat was in, we also replaced the hydraulic steering hoses and fully bled the steering system using a Bubble Buster.
This ensured the hydraulic system was properly bled and the steering was operating smoothly and reliably.
With the electronics upgrade and steering work completed, the Haines Hunter SF535 is now ready for plenty more time on the water.
