Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at East Coast Marine Electronics. We appreciate your business and want to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

  • The product must be returned within 10 days of purchase.
  • The product must be in unused condition, in its original packaging, and free from any damage.
  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Once we receive the returned item in satisfactory condition, we will issue a refund for the product's cost (excluding original shipping fees).


Faulty or Damaged Products:

  • If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us within 10 days of receiving the item.
  • Provide detailed information and, if possible, photographs illustrating the fault or damage.
  • We will assess the situation and, if deemed necessary, provide a replacement, warranty claim, or facilitate a repair within the manufacturer's stated warranty period.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

  • Certain items, such as downloadable software or gift cards, are non-refundable.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@ecme.co.nz.
