Simrad EVO3S Upgrade on Oliver 43 Flybridge – Whangamatā

A quick but worthwhile upgrade job this week over in sunny Whangamatā ⚓️

The flybridge on this Oliver 43 was running an older Simrad EVO2 9”. We removed the existing unit and installed a brand-new Simrad EVO3S 9”, giving the owner a faster, brighter, and more responsive display for navigation and fishing.

We also took care of the network setup — updating and linking the new EVO3S to the existing EVO2 system in the saloon, ensuring the two screens share data seamlessly. Charts were upgraded at the same time with C-MAP Reveal, bringing enhanced mapping detail and improved coastal and structure visibility.
