Quintrex F350 Outback Explorer – Trolling Motor Upgrade

Today we completed a tidy little upgrade on this Quintrex F350 Outback Explorer, turning it into a more capable and efficient fishing platform.

Haswing GPS Trolling Motor Installation

We fitted a Haswing 55lb 54" GPS trolling motor on the bow, giving the boat precise control on the water. This installation included a custom battery box packed with all the essentials:

• Trolling motor plug for easy connection

• Circuit breaker for added safety

• Isolator switch to manage power flow

• Victron charger port to keep the battery topped up

To make sure everything fit perfectly, we templated and cut HDPE board to mount the Quick Release Bracket, clearing the bow edge and keeping the setup clean and accessible.

Wiring & Power Upgrade

We also tidied up a jungle of old wiring and ran a fresh 6mm cable to supply the switch panel. This ensures reliable power delivery and a neat, professional finish that’s built to last.
