Garmin Kraken Trolling Motor Install – Senator 500 Side Console (Ōhope)

Yesterday’s install took us over to Ōhope to fit a Garmin Kraken 63” trolling motor on the bow of this brand new Senator 500 Side Console — an awesome little inshore setup 👌

The Kraken was fully installed and wired properly from the ground up, including:

Correct circuit breaker protection
Dedicated charge port for the 24V system
NZ Lithium 24V 105Ah battery, keeping the setup light, powerful, and ultra-reliable

To finish it off, we paired the Kraken via Wi-Fi to a Garmin ECHOMAP 95 UHD2, giving full trolling motor control straight from the screen. That means spot lock, steering, and speed control all at your fingertips.

This setup is going to be deadly for inshore fishing, holding position in wind or tide and staying locked on the fish 🎣⚓
